4.In case of a traffic accident ⇒ 110 |

| In the event of a traffic accident, perform the following: |

Move the cars involved in the accident to a safe place to avoid further accidents and to avoid blocking traffic. |

If anyone is injured, provide as much first-aid as possible until a doctor or an ambulance arrives. Do not attempt to move the injured person unless he or she is in immediate danger of further injury. |

Call 110 for help and directions. |

5.In case of a nuclear power plant accident |
|
There is a nuclear power plant in Ibaraki prefecture.
If an emergency is announced, try to obtain accurate information, and stay calm. |

● Listen carefully to any announcements made from a public announcement car, antidisaster wireless station, etc.
● Inform your neighbors and friends of such information.
● Avoid confusing, unfounded rumors.
● Stay inside the building unless advised otherwise.
● Securely close all doors and windows and turn off ventilation fans, etc.
● When coming inside a building, wash your face and hands thoroughly and change clothes. (Place worn clothes in a plastic bag.)
● Do not drink any tap or well water until its safety has been confirmed.
